THE ART MUSEUM PRINCETON UNIVERSITY PRINCETON, NEW JERSEY

Grant 135 (1955) -- Page 3

On the way to and from Episkopi, the grantee stopped at Athens and Nicosia to see comparative material from other excavations. She is indebted, first of all, to the American Philosophical Society for making the project possible; to Mr. A. H. S. Megaw, Director of the Department of Antiquities in Cyprus, for putting at her disposal the facilities of the excavation house at Episkopi, left to the Department by Mr. McFadden's bequest; to Dr. Porphyrios Dikaios, Curator of the Cyprus Museum, to Mr. J. S. Last, Honorary Curator of Curium, and to many others for helpful courtesies which made the Cypriote and Greek visits both enjoyable and profitable.
