Dear Jack, My apologies for the long delay in answering you letters and requests. I received them while excavating at Salamis, so I sent them to Mrs Williams to find the material for me - she has got the keys - and make it accessible for me to see as soon as I came back. Not only has she not done anything, but in the meantime she lost you letters and found them only to-day where? on her desk which looks exactly like a shopkeeper's desk. This, of course, has delayed photography, but the situation is already well advanced. Kakoullis has photographed the small objects and here are some information you ask.

a) Curium sceptre: C. Museum Number J 99

b) Handles 7 cauldron from Curium. 298

c) P1710 : a black-on-red jug in many fragments (lower part only survives). It could be something like SCE IV fig. XXXVIII, 7,8,13, but more probably fig. XXXIX, 15b.
