1st March,1955.

Handwritten: Dear Roger,

I enclose a list of skeletal material found at Episkopi which it is thought Larry did not study. But I observe an item or two here (e.g. Romeo and Juliet) which are included in his list enclosed with your letter of 14th January, for which many thanks.

I think it would be well if he looked over this list and let you know what he would like to have before it is decided to send them with Jack Bensons Bamboula bones and the Sotira Skulls. Joe Last's covering letter gives his estimate of the quantity. I doubt the usefulness of sending material already very fragmentary.

I think it would be fair if you paid for transport of any material sent to Philadelphia, and we make ourselves responsible for the return of any which we decide in the light of Larry's reports should come back to Cyprus.

You may be interested to know that the Swedes have asked us not to send any of the material classed by Larry as unrestorable.
