Dear Roger,

Finally I am writing to tell you that I want to give the workmen some money. My sister does not feel she can but I feel it is a must with me.

First of all I want to give them the ten percent that was due them. Shall I send you a certified check? and have you give it to them . [handwritten: w]hichever way you think best I will do.
