5.we are not able to help you with records here to clear up ownership on property since the only records we have are of Geogg's financial contributions.
6.Anything you need to maintain the grounds and the houses should be acquired and it is my feeling that [handwritten: this should be done] when we turn it over to them. Cyprus Museum when we turn it over to them.
7.Mr. Ewing and I both feel that it would be wise for Sir Panyotis to convert the stocks into cash in Cyprus [handwritten: ...] using that money this year.
8.I am sure you should carry the insurance on the cars there since the legal ownership will not be transferred to us for some time and we can't insure them here without legal ownership.
9.Ewing seems very anxious to get the agreed list from you and Sir Panyotis with evaluations so that we can get the additional funds from the estate in order to buy them from the estate. This final statement, of course, will also require a financial statement showing what the estate owes to the Kurium Excavations Fund. We both feel that you and Sir Panyotis should work this out together and give us your recommendations.
I gather you were not bothered by the earthquake since you didn't even mention it and that the real shock was concentrated west of you. After the news in the papers here many people called to find out how you were but I felt sure that if anything serious had happened we would have heard.
There has been no news from Rodney since he disappeared into Bactria but I gather everything is going alright and that you should see him by sometime late in November. Certainly I hope we have the photographs of objects formexchange with the Turks to you in time for Rodney.
Everything is going fine here and I hope you are having some fun in Cyprus. I can imagine you are going to have a very difficult job this year and please let us know if there is anything we can do.
Best wishes,
Froelich Rainey Director
