June 17, 1953To whom it may concern:

This is to certify that Mr. Jack L. Benson is an authorized member to the staff of the University Museum's expedition to Curium, Cyprus. Mr. Benson will be spending the year September 1953 to September 1954 in archaeological excavation and research at the above site as a representative of this museum and the University of Pennsylvania. Any assistance that may be granted him in connection with visas and the facilitation of his journey to Cyprus will be greatly appreciated.
