Dear J. Roger: This is probably the last that will get you still in Phila, so it will be pretty miscellaneous. 1) Dogs: I will write to my sister and ask her if she thinks it advisable, and if so if she will collect them at the proper time and take them to Weber's in Princeton which is supposed to be good though I do not know how expensive. Anyway she will probably be willing to pay and I can repay her on my return. If she is willing she can collect them from Ruth Fries when necessary. 2) Wace-Bamboula: I have not written to him until I get further confirmation. They accept, the amount of the remuneration remaining in abeyance. Have not yet decided whether to go home this summer; if they do it will be at their own expense. I also told them I could see no absolute necessity for them to be in Cyprus before Sept. 15th. As to travel allowance: David's return $350 has been paid out of Gordon funds - so this sum should be due from C to G. The figures I suggested were rough approximations. I have figured … continues
