Dear Fro,

After our telephone conversation of this morning, I had a talk with John Ewing on the telephone about George's affairs, which was not very satisfactory. I don't think that Ewing wants to hold back anything, but as a lawyer feels that nothing definite can be done until the Will can be probated, and this in turn cannot be done until some satisfactory proof of George's death is established. He is waiting for details and other information from Cyprus on this point.

In the meantime I took the liberty of having photostatic copies made of the two clippings from the Cyprus newspapers, and the copy of Mr. Megaw's letter to Mr. Hill.

I herewith enclose the original clippings and the Megaw letter; as well as a photostat of these enclosures.

I am sending two additional photostats to John Ewing, as I understand he wants to mail one of them to George's sister in California, and retain the other for his files.

I am retaining a third set for my own Museum files here in the office.

Yours sincerely,
