6 July, 1953UNIVERSITY OF PENNSYLVANIA Re: Estate of George H. McFadden, II, Deceased

John Kennedy Ewing, 3rd, Esq. Saul, Ewing, Remick & Saul 23rd Floor Packard Building Philadelphia 2, Pa.

Dear Mr. Ewing:

Thank you for your letter of July 3rd enclosing lists of Mr. McFadden's personal belongings and contents of his house at Cyprus, copies of which were also sent to Dr. Rainey. We note that he will indicate what articles the University Museum would like to have and will send the marked lists back to you.

When the exemplified copy of the will and probate has been filed in Cyprus and the ancillary administrator appointed, we would appreciate your notifying us of the filing date and of the date and name of the court by which the appointment will have been made.

Thank you for arranging to have the $10,000.00 legacy to the University Museum paid so promptly.

Very truly yours,
