THE UNIVERSITY MUSEUM UNIVERSITY OF PENNSYLVANIA
CURIUM EXCAVATIONS EPISKOPI, LIMASSOL CYPRUS
13th May, 1952Edward Roger Esq., The University Museum, University of Pennsylvania, 33rd & Spruce Streets, Philadelphia.
Dear Roger:-
Many thanks for yours of May 5th.
In answer to your question would you send me the package from kodak to the above address via parcel post. I believe it contains cine kodak film. They sent it to the Museum because I forgot to cross out "University of Pennsylvania" on the paper heading and they ignored the Cypriot address.
With regard to my article I object to the captions which are not mine. You'd think they'd be able to avoid such caption as "Hellenistic work of Trajan's day" particularly so in describing a piece of sculpture which we consider to belong to the Pre-Roman period in Cyprus.
I had a very pleasant stay at Gordion and congradulate you on the splendid site you have there. I just got back this week.
Yours as ever,
