May 5, 1952Dear George -

There has come in a package addressed to you from Eastman Kodak Stores, Inc., 20 E. 45th St., N.Y. It seems mysterious that it should be sent here to the Museum, especially since it was sent air mail, and I wonder if it is not something you intended to have sent to you in Cyprus? If so, please let me know and I will forward it. If not, we will keep it until your return.

The copy of the Illustrated London News with your article on Kourion has just come in. It's nice to see again some of the fine things you showed us photographs of in February. It really looks as if you were striking it rich there.

We haven't heard from Gordion recently, but perhaps you have already paid your visit and will know more about it than we! Machteld is now getting herself ready to go out.

Kindest greetings from all here.

Sincerely,

Handwritten: Roger
