Dear Fro:-
Many thanks for your letter of November 30th. I'm delighted you and Mr. Madeira and the Barringers are planning to come out here in March and I will be looking forward to your visit. We can put you all up here at Curium House.
Mr. Hill has been here for a couple of weeks since I wrote you last and I'm hoping he may be here in March when you come. He was in fine form.
I'm not planning to come home for Christmas unless the publication of the figurines is imminent, as it will set me back at least six weeks in my work which I am anxious to get on with. I'm now working on the final publication of the South Building at Apollo.
In regard to Ordway I would like very much to meet him. How soon does he want to join an expedition? We were thinking possibly of bringing someone over here from Athens if Miss Kohler couldn't return here in order to avoid the expense of transportation in bringing someone from home. I plan to meet Rodney either at Athens or at Gordion when he comes over and to discuss this problem with him. Has Ordway had any experience which would qualify him for Archaeological work and would he be interested in routine work? Our bottle neck here now is photography and cataloguing.
Yours as ever,
