28th November, 1950Editor in Chief, Fasti Archeologici, Libreria Commissionaria Sansoni, Firenze.

Dear Sir:-

On my return to Cyprus I was glad to find the 3rd volume of Fasti waiting for me. I thought plates C,D and E looked very well. I noted, however, that the information supplied in the copy of my report which I had sent you was not included to explain the plates and that this information is to be supplied in the next volume. You may naturally be reluctant to republish the plates but it would be a pity to have volume 3 supply the illustrations without the text and volume 4 the text without the illustrations. Both, I think you will agree, should be included in the same volume. I hope you won't mind my bringing this to your attention.

Very sincerely yours,

GHMcF/cp
