Public funds amounting to £1000 have already been spent, or allocated for this project and any further expenditure by Government is not of the question of present, except for the staffing, and for the establishment of a Committee which is not in fact required until 1950. It is hoped that this sum of £430 the museum is again to be postponed indefinitely.
