Dear Mr. McFadden:

Yesterday we received a post card acknowledging your receipt of the following -

Charbonneaux: Les terres cuites grecques

Kekule von Stradonitz: Die antiken terrakotten, volume 3, parts 1 & 2.

In my letter to you, of September 17, 1947, no mention was made of the time to return these books. Will you please arrange to have them reach the Museum not later than December 30, 1948? Since shipping is so slow, I should think you would have to mail them not later than October 1st.

Sincerely yours,
