7 January 1949Mrs William O. Robbins, Office of the Secretary, The University Museum, University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, Penna., U.S.A.

Dear Mrs Robbins,

As requested in your letter of 21 January the title to the Jeep is sent herewith. The Jeep was put in store on 31 January. It was to have been stored at the American Consulate but as there was no room there the Director of Antiquities agreed to keep it, until further notice, in a Cyprus museum lock-up garage. He does not think it is necessary to insure it against fire and theft, but this will be done if desired.

A note is enclosed for the information of Dr Rodrigo [handwritten: ?] who will take delivery of the Jeep in due course.

I take this opportunity to express my thanks for the use of the Jeep.

Very sincerely,
