December 16, 1947Dear Mr. Megaw,

May I ask you to amend paragraph 1, line 4, of my letter of 9 December to read A-B-C-D-E-H-A, instead of A-B-C-D-E-F-A, and in line 9 ABCH instead of ABCF, and to substitute HEFG for FGHIJE.

Referring to my letter of 9 December I have to inform you that in our definitive agreement with the Church Committee the boundaries of the plots to be exchanged are as shown in the plan enclosed herewith, which is to be substituted for that handed you with my letter of 9 December. The area of the two plots is approximately equal.

The agreed indemnity for the wall in the plot to be ceded to us is £ 17/-/-, intended to cover somewhat generously the cost of sinking and equipping a new well within the area retained by the Church.

Yours sincerely,
