Dear Young,
Many thanks for your letter dated September 6. I apologize for having delayed the promised reply to your letter (undated) regarding the packing of the Kalorziki tomb-groups both of those allocated to your Expedition as well as those belonging to the Cyprus Museum.
2. The nine cases in which the Cyprus Museum share from the above mentioned tomb-groups were packed have been duly received. The cases containing the Expedition's share have been sealed in your presence and mine on the day of my visit to Episkopi (18th August, 1947) and an Export Licence is enclosed herewith.
3. I have noted that certain objects from the Cyprus Museum and the Expedition's tomb-groups have not been traced and I agree that the matter may wait until Dr. Daniel's return. As to the tripod P.714 please keep it in your stores pending decision.
4. Photographs of terra-cotta figures and of an inscription (1937, II-15) in the Cyprus Museum collection herewith.
5. Please hand over to Mr. Kakoulli who is bringing to you this letter the box containing small objects mentioned in your letter of September 6th 1947.
6. I should like to express my gratitude for the typed lists of the Kalorziki tomb-groups which have been placed in our records. I am also grateful for the very kind hospitality extended to me on the day of my visit.
Yours sincerely,
