with my Aunt Ellie Browning, my father's sister, who has a wonderful place here which used to belong to my grandfather. It is on a point surrounded on three sides by water with a view of the mountains behind which go up to a height of two thousand feet sheer from the water side. There is a cove on either side of the point with the inner most end of one blocked off by a sea wall to form a swimming pool which is filled at high tide by opening the gate and emptied at low tide when you want to clean the pool. Thirteen members of the family are on the point today and we have just had all our pictures taken. On Sunday night I go down to New York, then to Southhampton to see my brother's children, then back to Philadelphia for two or three days; then to Hot Springs, Virginia, to see my mother again, and then back to Philadelphia to get ready to leave the country again. So you see my time will be pretty crowded between now and the second week in September.

My sister has just come into my room and says if I'm going to take her car I've got to get going now, so I am off to mail this letter.

Looking forward to seeing you at Athens, and hoping very much you will be able to come down early in the season, so we can begin work at Pot 14 ?

Handwritten: in the season, so we can begin work at Pot 14 ... Yours ever George
