Dear Young,

With reference to the State land in Curium at the locality "Paleokastro" which it is proposed to lease, I understand from Custodian Christo Gregoriou that for obvious reasons Mr. [handwritten: Mr.] McFadden would prefer that it should be leased to agriculturists/than to shepherds, even though the latter may be inclined to pay a higher rent than the former.

I quite agree with Mr. McFadden's views and shall be glad if you will ask Christo to proceed accordingly. I did not communicate with you before on this routine matter as it was not considered worth while to trouble you.

Yours sincerely,
