July 28, 1947Dear Mr. Myers:

I enclose a letter from Mr. McFadden to Mrs. Godfrey stating his contributions for the 1946-47 fiscal year. Checks no. 600, January 30 for $1,000. and no. 459, June 9 for $2,000. have hitherto not been reported to us (and therefore to you) by Mr. McFadden. He said he would notify you when he sends in his financial report. You may have to prod him a little. Other than that everything is fine and we all agree.

Sincerely yours,

Mrs. William O. Robbins Office of the Secretary

Mr. A. Lloyd Myers, Assistant Treasurer University of Pennsylvania Blanchard Hall 3446 Walnut Street Philadelphia 4

P.S. Mr. McFadden also requested that if any tax questions come up they be referred to Dr. B.H.Hill the field director in Cyprus rather than to himself. [handwritten: signature]
