CURIUM EXCAVATIONS EPISKOPI, LIMASOL CYPRUS

11 June 1947The Director, The University Museum, Philadelphia.

Dear Mrs. Godfrey,

the Director of Antiquities told me yesterday that he had received a cable from Prof. Daniel expressing dissatisfaction with the division of finds. We knew nothing about it so I have written Mr. Daniel and enclose the copy of my letter. Perhaps something still may be done when Mr. Hill and I return here in the Fall.

In the mean time I'll have an oportunity of hearing from Mr. Daniel how he'd like to have the division modified. I'm terribly sorry the results were disappointing to him but we did the best we could acting on his memorandum. I will tell you about it when I come home.

Handwritten: Sincerely yours, Geoffrey H. W. Godfrey
