March 28, 1947Dear Peter,

Thank you for your information about the film, which I am now using.

My long-postponed visit to Nicosia must now be made; I should like to come any time next week, or as soon thereafter as some sort of accommodation can be found. I am mindful, however, of your warning that hotels are apt to be full, so I wonder whether you would be good enough to let me know whenever a room is anywhere to be had. If you would drop me a line, or better yet leave a message by telephone with the Police, I should be very grateful. (Note that by next week I mean any day after the 31st).

It will be nice to see you, Electra, and the Dikaios family again; until I get there, best greetings from all of us here.

sincerely,

P.S. We are eagerly awaiting the arrival of the Dikaios Guide to the Museum.
