DEPARTMENT OF ANTIQUITIES, CYPRUS.

Nicosia, 10th August 1946.

Dear George.

When you were in the Museum yesterday I forgot to show you the attached letter from Mr. Hill about photographs to accompany the Kalorizki, Bamboula and Palaeokastro inventories, which were received in 1940. Perhaps when you get to Philadelphia you could look into this outstanding matter.

I see also that we have the following note on the inventories of the Basilica (architectural fragments) and Apollo sanctuary (Greek inscriptions) which you sent us in 1940:-

"Photos A.315 & A.316 will be mailed later also. Photos I.52, I.69, I.70, I.74, I.79, I.80; I.91, I.92, I.93, I.94. (the negatives are in England and the prints have not come through)."

Can these also now be supplied?

George McFadden Esq. c/o The American Expedition, Episkopi.

YS.
