Curium Excavations, Episkopi, Limassol D. Cyprus.

10 May 1946Ag. Director, the University Museum, Philadelphia.

Dear Mrs. Godfrey,

I am enclosing you herewith a list of drawing material which we require and which is not at present available in the island. I'd appreciate it tremendously if you could arrange to have this sent to us by first class mail to the above address, debiting Curium Excavations account. Miss Grace has sent me a list of the contents of packages sent by us before the war to the University Museum and which we opened together. Some of these you will remember we opened together. I note that her list does not include a set of "squeezes" of inscriptions in stone which, if I am not mistaken, were also sent to you at about the same time. I think it would be advisable in any case to make another set of these, and, as we have no squeeze paper left, I wonder if you could obtain about 100 sheets for us. I haven't received an answer yet to my letter to Mr. Hill of which I think I sent you a copy enclosed in my letter to you of April 16th. However, I shall keep you informed of any new developments.

Very sincerely yours.
