I have just heard over the Radio that no German ships are leaving German ports so fear we'll not be able to sail on the "Europa". My sister brother-in-law and myself are planning to sail for home together. They are on their way to Paris now but I [handwritten: think] they will probably not want to remain there until the crisis is over. My address will be, however, Morgan & co. Place Vendome, until I let you know I have changed it.

Sincerely yours,
