May 28, 1938Dear Mr. McFadden,

Mr. Jayne has been ill at home with mumps and he has asked me to write you in acknowledgment of your letter of April 25th. I am enclosing a draft for the additional amount due you for the Expedition. This also includes the fund for Mr. Daniel.

You have probably received the Bulletin by now which we devoted for the most part to your articles. I hope they were satisfactorily done. Everyone here liked them very much. I sent copies to the three persons you suggested in your letter. If there are any others please let me know.

Sincerely yours,

Alice M. Goudy
