UNIVERSITY OF PENNSYLVANIA THE MUSEUM Thirty-third and Spruce Streets. PHILADELPHIA, PA.

January 30, 1937Mr. Karl H. Logue Office Messrs. Geo. H. McFadden & Bro. 1606 Packard Building Philadelphia

My dear Mr. Logue:

Mr. Jayne has handed me your letter of January 29th.

While the first four items listed by you did not go through our books, there is little doubt that they were intended for the excavations carried on by Mr. McFadden at Curium, Cyprus.

The [handwritten: check] item, that of $500. was a contribution to the University Museum. It was Mr. McFadden's wish that this should be applied towards the running expenses of the Museum itself. No part of this contribution was applied to the Curium excavations.

Very truly yours
