Horace H. F. Jayne, Esq. University of Pennsylvania Museum 34th & Spruce Streets Philadelphia, Pa.

Dear Mr. Jayne:

I am getting up information on which to base Mr. George H. McFadden's income tax report; therefore, will you be good enough to advise me if your records agree with the following:

On April 1st, Mr. McFadden drew check for Curium Excavations, $300. On April 14, he drew check for Curium Excavations, 400. I understand this is in connection with the University of Pennsylvania Museum Expedition. On April 22d, he drew a corresponding check for 800. On May 5th, 200. On June 26th, check to the University Museum, 500. Is this also account of Curium Excavations? ——— Total $2200.

Mr. McFadden does not seem to have drawn any checks in favor of Mr. B. H. Hill, as he did last year.

Very truly yours,
