SAVOY HOTEL FAMAGUSTA - CYPRUS TELEGRAMS: "SAVOY" P. O. B. 21

6-4-36Dear Mr. Hill,

after all the rush and tear of the last few days, culminating in not today, I am spending a night of quiet here, without toothbrush or pyjamas. I find it rather discouraging.

I reached Larnaca in rather too record time for pleasure, and secured my visa easily. I learned that the ship was coming to Famagusta, so I had lunch and then came out to Famagusta (it cost only 6 shillings for a car all to myself!)
