The only remittance to Cyprus by BHH since Dec. has been £4/10/- for one month's wages of Christo and Savvi.

No rent yet due for the second house, as we have paid for 48 months.

On the first house, rent is due from August 24 1935 at £15 per year and at 8s per month July 1 to Aug 23 (£15/15/-). Payment can be made to the Chrysostomides Brothers for one half or half to each if both will accept half. As you know [handwritten: X] Evagoras claims the whole rental, while Zeno claims half. They better be offered a- gain £15/15/- in exchange for a receipt signed by both for the rent to August 23 1936. I expect Evagoras to continue to insist of getting half and Zeno to accept half for July 1 to Aug 23 is due to the fact that we were made to vacate the upper rooms on July 1 and kept only the storerooms. The rate for the whole had been 15s per month. So 8s seems fair for the two lower rooms (we had only one big apotheke then), but if the brothers happen to be ready to accept payment now I do not think that we need insist on the rate of 8s. A pound would be all right instead of the 15s I suggested above for the 1 mo. 23 days. But I don't think you will have to pay anything yet.
