CYPRUS MUSEUM

These are the main fields in which I am interested. I am grateful to read in your lines that you are willing to investigate areas by way of supplement to my work. I shall think about this and I hope to talk to you about it when you arrive in Cyprus.

Now the situation is the following: I shall visit Episkopi at the end of the week and come to definite conclusion as to which other sites, besides the Acropolis, may be of interest to you. I shall also try to get the owner's permits and submit them with your application to the Col. Secretary.

In your letter I found a cheque of £10. I shall see what are your debts to the Lapithos landowner and let you know. I have noted that I may use some of this money for the purpose of obtaining the owner's permits at Curium, and thank you.

I am thankful to you for your kind words about the work accomplished by the museum and I am very glad to near that you are resuming operations in Cyprus, and that I shall have the great pleasure of seeing you next March.

Yours very truly,
