Nicosia,

23rd February,1934.

Dear Mr.Hill,

I received your kind letter dated 15th February. I hope that you have meanwhile received last cablegram "Available". By this I meant that the sites for which you were applying are available subject to the approval of the museum Committee.

First of all I must tell you that I shall be very pleased to act for you in the carrying out of the preliminary arrangements necessary for the official obtaining of permit to excavate. I have always been glad to be of some use to you and I shall always be so in future.

With regard to the sites I may tell you that our museum is interested firstly in the Neolithic Settlement of Erimi where I made last years discoveries. Moreover the Early Bronze Age settlement and necropolis which are situated on the other side of Kouris near Episkopi are of first importance to my researches as these sites seem to form a "suite" to the neolithic settlement.
