Dear Sir. Being informed that you want to buy good ancient objects of archaeological value, I take the liberty to inform you that I have an ancient ring of the Greek period, representing the head of Socrates engraved on onyx.
The face of Socrates is red whilst the beard and hair is white. One can easily see with the eye above the wrinkle on his forehead as well as three of his eyes. Also one can see the eyelashes and every detail of the face and head in general.
According to the opinions of the curator of antiquities of the Cyprus museum it is one of the most beautiful engraved rings ever existing.
If you are buyers please inform me and with pleasure I will come and show you same.
Awaiting you reply, I remain, Dear Sir. Your faithfully.
