… opening | 17 J8/1 UF 133 south of massif 451; the limits are recorded of the brick massif; it is then started into in order to define its nature. To the west it encloses a stone whose upper part slopes, whose plan seems rectangular, and which is surmounted by one at least two courses of bricks pointed. The top of this stone was painted red; traces of it remain. The bricks, sometimes very red with strong white inclusions, sometimes browner without these inclusions, are pointed at each course but not on the same course, where they are placed side by side; the same course may include bricks (of similar dimensions: ht 12 x length unknown x width unknown) of both kinds, but also of earth. The edges of the massif are rather difficult to define, with re-entrants and projections, in height as in plan. The NE quarter of J8/1 has still not been cleared the massif 451 has only been delimited to the south Distances: see plan.
