The project
In 1979 the Department of Antiquities excavated one intact tomb in a newly discovered cemetery at the north-east edge of Kato Lakatamia1. The annual notice dates the tomb to Cypro-Archaic II to Cypro-Classical I and says it produced mainly Plain White V and VI pottery; it gives no tomb number1. A bowl (diameter 10.5 cm, height 5.5 cm) and a jug (height 18.5 cm) are illustrated as figures 23 and 241.
