Three ancient tombs were found on a building site at Anavargos in October 2021, and the Department of Antiquities' archaeological officer, Margarita Kouali, examined them1. The Cyprus Mail reported on 6 October 2021 that police were investigating whether the developer had failed to report the discovery1. The period of the tombs and their contents are not recorded.
