The French mission at Enkomi: Claude Schaeffer's archive, 1929–1974

Rights

The Collège de France publishes the Fonds Claude Schaeffer (34 CDF), digitised by Paris Sciences et Lettres (PSL), in PSL's digital library under CC BY-NC-ND 4.0. The images are shown as the Collège publishes them: resized only, never cropped, rotated or retouched. The English titles and captions beside them are ours, translated from the Collège's French catalogue entry, which is shown with each item; every item links to its record in the PSL digital library. The collection also holds papers from 1975–1993 (letters about returning objects lent for study, analyses, inventories of the archive), made after the Turkish invasion of 20 July 1974; nothing in it was made at Enkomi after that date.
