Friday 7 December 1962

The afternoon is devoted to protective measures for the Hall: a layer of sand recovered with a mattress of earth, in order to preserve, if possible in its present state, the floor III until the 1963 campaign. Meanwhile, I am drawing the stratigraphic section of the south side of the rectangular "Pit", cutting through the lower layers, below the 3 floors of the Proto-Geometric Hall.
