He thanks me for the recom. of Lapierre, formern Cons. at Larnaca at the Foreign Affairs who allowed him to ici obtain an excellent collab. – Gives me his opinion of Mr Milliex, cultural cons. absent, who would be good, (I had thought of Deshaye, archaeologist) and introduces me to his vice-consul, &. I give my opinion on various questions, but I have the impres. that the choice of the Foreign Affairs this time is good. The Cons. speaks Turkish + Greek. – Short political horiz.
