Wednesday 3 Sept. Visit to Mr Megaw as soon as the museum opened . A thoroughly Western efficiency, of which even his best collaborators unfortunately are deprived, allows in a few minutes the review of the different questions to be settled . As a result, at 9h00 a taxi takes me to Enkomi, where it is the usual chain of the guard up to Michael, passing by the former workmen met . The village seems very calm and Michael tells me moreover that no incident has occurred there this year . A fairly hot sun watches over my first installation and a very strong glare veils the plain . A bed, constituting a minimum, easy to set up, I can occupy the house from this evening, in the midst of a perfect calm motivated engendered by the prohibition on movement .
