Famagusta: air tickets, bank, Gov., post office etc. Visit by Megaw to whom I show the excavations and settle the administrative questions. Begin preparing packing and end of mission accounts etc. Saturday 12 Dec. cold then fine. + 3 1/2 at 7h morning Morning finish inventory of objects + those for temporary export, official letters etc. Return of the tools belonging to the Mission c. 66 pickaxes, 82 shovels, 30 small picks (instead of 50) (I am still taking 20 small picks to Ras Shamra). Left with the nightwatch: 1 pickaxe + 2 spades. Last payments etc. Then to Famagusta: bank + air transport, passports etc. And leave for Nicosia with Forrer where I return the antiquities to the Antiquities Service arranged temporary export etc. Farewells to Megaw and Dikaios. Then purchases of gifts for Seyrig and antiquities from Kolokasides. Return to Enkomi 2h arr. 3 h 1/4 - Finish luggage.
