den 28. VI. 1971. Dear Herr Professor Hundt, I returned 14 days ago from Ras Shamra and Cyprus excavations and am working here on the first reports. In July I shall continue with them at the Elsasshaus if it is possible for you, I would like on this occasion to bring you the last corrections of your report on Enk.-Al. to Mainz, also some small Cyprus finds, and to combine this with a pleasant lunch with Madame Hundt and Schaeffer- Forrer & your colleague in Mainz. At 5 o'clock we must return to Strasbourg. - I hope that you and Herr Rutzen, whom I would like to meet in the afternoon the day before, on a Tuesday or Wednesday in the week between 19-24 or 26-31 July this plan would be agreeable. - Please let me know this here by 9 July, after you have been in telephone contact with Herr Rutzen. If these dates are close to your Swiss holidays and would not suit, we could postpone the pleasant plan to the autumn.
