Dear Maya, dear Verner, my journey to you and Mainz is now fixed: I must be in Mainz on the evening of 5 Aug., on at 6, in the morning, to collect the bronzes, to speak with Prof. Hundt and in the afternoon possibly to speak with the publisher from Zabern, also in Mainz. From Mainz I must on the same 6 Aug. take the 17.00 train directly back to Strasbourg and afterwards continue on to Basel, where I must collect Odilchen, who has things to do in Zürich and B. to do. – So I thought, if it suits you, in Frankfurt on 5 Aug. with the train at 11 h 51 (from Strasbg.) to arrive and to have lunch with you and talk about the drawings with Maya. Towards evening I would take a train from Frankf. to Mainz and there put up at the Europahotel, Mainzerhof, or Zentralhotel. In this way it would not become too tiring and I can the next morning with Prof H. settle the questions of the bronzes, of his article for Enk. Al. II etc. Perhaps Maya could, if it is possible for you, towards the end of the morning come to M. and go through the little chapter with me again with the drawings. – I look forward to seeing you again and only regret that Odilchen cannot come along.
