Herrn Prof. Dr. H. - J. HUNDT Römisch-Germanisches Zentralmuseum MAINZ Ernst-Ludwig-Platz 2 Germany

Dear, esteemed Herr Professor Hundt!

Many thanks for your letter and your technical opinions, to which I will return when we meet in Mainz, and after I can consult some literature that I lack here at the Chaumière. My address from 5 July is le Chaumière, 68 - FREILAND (Haut-Rhin).

The study of the Enkomi little cart has shown me that without a model the latter is not easy to understand. So I would like to ask whether a model for the Louvre Museum, and a cast of the four swords, would be technically possible, and at what price. I would then like to ask the Louvre whether it could acquire the copy.

With warm greetings Yours very sincerely

C.F.A. SCHAEFFER
