had to return in April and have no model I would like to ask you, regarding a technical question, to tell me your opinion: the chariot frame consists of two longitudinal rods (?) which are connected by means of 4 transverse rods and probably (?) cast together . The both transverse rods at the ends are provided with solid rings which are welded or cast together with the longitudinal rods . Through these rings ran the axles of the 4 wheels. Now these axles are, probably of thin bronze rods, which we have not found were they firmly attached to the wheels of of which only one was found, and did they turn therefore together with these in the rings of the transverse rods? or after inspection of the wheel, it the axles seem rather to have lain firmly in the rings , so that they the wheels freely rotated around their ends? Is this it possible to decide this? I would be grateful to you for soon writing me your opinion. With warm greetings. Yours CFASchaeffer. (In June: B.P. 16, LA CROIX-VALMER 83 (Var).
