6 June 1968 Dear Professor Hundt, many thanks for your letter of 8 May and for the hospitable reception and the helpfulness extended to my colleague Mr Lagarce, who returned enthusiastic about you, your Institute and the bronzes, just in time to take part in the student revolt (absolutely justified, but of course in its political aims going too far ) . He tells me that during the summer months I will find you in Mainz. But you must also take a break sometimes. So I would like to arrange a visit with you more precisely. I will be in Alsace (La Chaumière, 68 Fréland, tel 15, with préavis 1 hour) from 22–31 July, 1–31 August and would like to come to you from there by car to collect all the finished bronzes and the Pharaoh's head again . In principle all the bronzes should be returned by me in Nicosia (Cyprus) in October. If something cannot be finished by then, I will ask for and obtain an extension. – According to Lagarce the swords (+ copies) + most of the tools should be finished. Now I very much care about at least seeing the small cult wagon, getting it photographed and a good drawing, since it should be published in the autumn in connection with other wagons. Could this also be ready by my visit
