Dear Mr Megaw,

I had here the visit of Mr. Stewart who is engaged in his study on Vounous pottery. He would like to include the unpublished material attributed to the French Mission before the war & which is still stacked in the storerooms behind your office. I think also you would not dislike to get rid of this great amount of sherds & unrepaired vases to gain the space for other material.

Would it be possible that you have the material inspected & its bulk evaluated by an agent who would undertake paking & shipping to Australia? Stewart would have repaired it there.

I hope this will not prove to be too costly in time for you

Please give my kind regards to Mrs. Megaw & souvenir to Mr. Dikaios.

Yours sincerely

C F A Schaeffer.
