Dr. C.F.A. Schaeffer will give an information talk about his excavations at Engomi at the Cyprus Museum of Friday next, 4th October at 6.30 p.m.

The retail price of Government stocks of imported phasoulia will be reduced to 11½ p. an oke from the 1st October, 1946.

Rice will not be rationed after October 1st.
Retail sales will continue to be made through the authorized retailers at the existing regulated price of 11p. an oke.
Purchasers should ask their retailers to supply their reasonable requirements.
