Mr Claude Schaeffer Paris July 1, 1953

Dear Doctor Schaeffer,

You will remember talking at the Embassy at the end of March to collect an archaic silver bowl found in several pieces at Enkomi in 1950, and which it was agreed should be exhibited at the Louvre for a period of two months.

I wonder if you will shortly be in a position to return the bowl to the Embassy since in Paris it is now three months since I saw you. [illegible]
